Markus Mock

After graduating from the Swiss technical college in Rapperswil and working for one year as a design engineer, Mock attended the ETH Zurich graduating in 1984 with a degree in engineering. Until 1987 he worked as an assistant professor at the Signal and Information Processing Laboratory of the ETH.
Since 1987 Mock has participated in the development of several dive computers, the oxygen analyser OxySpy® and the wireless multi channel data transmitter DMR01 for underwater applications. Moreover, he developed dive computer hardware and software and worked on a number of other aquatics projects. In co-operation with Prof. Dr Albert A. Bühlmann he also participated in the development of an adaptive computing model for decompression.
Since 1992 Mock has been an active diver. He has completed the CMAS D3 training and obtained the CMAS Nitrox license (1997). Since 1997 he has been diving with the Drüger Dolphin SCR.
Mock is one of the three initial developers of uemis SDA and has participated in its development since the first brainstorming.
